Jamie Mack

Hello, my name is Jamie Mack and I am pleased to be teaching Grade 1 at L.T. Westlake this year. I have been teaching  for 7 years and I have had experience teaching Kindergarten-Grade 3.  My previous position was at Hays school teaching a K-1 split class. I love teaching lower elementary, there is so much growth that happens in the first few years of school. I am looking forward to seeing all the growth that will happen with my Grade 1 students this upcoming year.  

I have been living in Taber for about 3 years and enjoy being a part of this community. I am married and have 4 grown children (Cameron, Brant, Hayden, and Ashlyn). I have spent many years watching my kids play hockey, baseball, and volleyball; so I understand how busy some children's lives can be after they leave the school. Now that my children are grown I enjoy golfing with my husband and spending time with family and friends. 

I am very excited to be at L.T. Westlake this year and I look forward to meeting all of the families that are part of our school community. Please feel free to stop by if you are in the school and introduce yourself.  I am sure it will be a wonderful year!
